Uzbekistan parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddinjon Ismoilov has met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Asad Qaiser.

According to the lower house of parliament, Mr. Asad Qaiser proposed to intensify inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, to develop new areas of cooperation between deputies, inter-committee and inter-working groups.

Mr. Nuriddinjon Ismoilov noted that representatives of the parliaments of the two countries should make a worthy contribution to the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in all spheres.

The parties reached an agreement on the development of issues of improving the normative-legal framework, exchanging experience in parliamentary, commercial and industrial cooperation, implementation of joint projects in commerce, industry, agriculture, science, education, healthcare (pharmaceuticals), pilgrim tourism.
