On January 6, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan congratulated Bakhtiyor Saidov on his appointment to a high responsible position and wished him success.

The parties expressed mutual readiness to strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership and mobilize the existing potential for the implementation of all agreements reached following the high-level visits.

The ministers exchanged views on the current issues on the bilateral and regional agenda, and agreed on a schedule of the upcoming joint events.
