The First International Congress “Healthcare during the pandemic: Experience and achievements in the fight against COVID-19” kicked off in Tashkent on June 1.
The event was organized by the Progressive Medical Service and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
87 reports of specialists from 21 countries of the world will be presented during the congress.
The first day of the congress was held in a hybrid format at Hilton Hotel with an online connection of world-famous experts and was broadcast in real-time on www.covid-congress.com in Uzbek, Russian and English.
The uniqueness of this event is that specialists of Uzbekistan can get the latest information about the world achievements of science and medicine in the fight against the pandemic. It is also important that Uzbekistan has provided a virtual platform for such relevant dialogue.

“The congress is aimed at sharing best practices in the fight against the pandemic, demonstrating the real achievements of Uzbekistan on the international stage in quickly responding to these challenges”, said Artem Pokachalov, Head of Progressive Medical Service.
The Congress will conclude its work on June 4.
