The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Sultanate of Oman hosted a meeting with the leadership of Salam Air.

On May 11, 2020, an Air Transport Agreement entered into force between the governments of Uzbekistan and Oman. According to the document, Salam Air is an air carrier from Oman.

The Salam Air leadership announced the planned talks with the leading travel companies of Central Asia and Uzbekistan airlines on the implementation of regular flights on the Muscat – Tashkent route. By the end of the year the company will take measures to expand the geography of flights, purchase new aircraft to establish regular flights to Central Asian countries. He expressed his readiness to conduct online talks with the leadership of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and other authorized organizations to analyze the opportunities available in the region.
