The Uzbekistan – Oman Business Forum was held at the Nordic International University in Tashkent with the participation of a delegation of businesspeople from the Sultanate of Oman visiting Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the two countries’ responsible agencies, heads of leading companies from Oman, and representatives of Uzbekistan’s business entities attended the event. Mutual negotiations were held, and information on the local market and investment potential was exchanged.

At the business forum, Chairman of Al Khonji Group Khalil Al Khonji and Managing Director of Arabian Industries Group Amer Al Suleimani expressed interest in cooperating with Uzbekistan’s medical institutions and domestic companies producing medical equipment. A proposal was also put forward to establish a hotel business in the country. 

Following the business forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Nordic International University and Muscat University.
