Uzbekistan national team wins the World Archery Championships

The International Archery Championships were organized at the initiative of the Olympic Club, which operates at the Republican Center for Training in Olympic and Paralympic Sports. As a result, the Uzbekistan national team confidently took first place in the team events.

More than 80 archers from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan took part in the competitions. The athletes demonstrated their skills in shooting from a distance of 18 meters, competing in the team program and mixed competitions.

The Uzbekistan team won 6 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze medals, moving up to the top of the team standings. Kazakhstan and Tajikistan took second and third place, respectively.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony for the winners and medalists, Abror Mamadaliyev, Director of the Republican Center for Training for Olympic and Paralympic Sports, noted that the regular holding of such prestigious competitions plays a significant role in the development of archery in the country, as well as contributes to the support and further growth of young athletes.
