Uzbekistan delegation of National Film Commission with the support of Uzbekistan Youth Union will attend the largest event in Asia film and entertainment industry − the 23rd International Film and Television Market FILMART in Hong Kong.
A meeting of Uzbekistan delegation with representatives of Asian Film Commissions Network was held to discuss the accession of Uzbekistan National Film Commission to the AFCNet. The parties agreed on participation of the National Film Commission in the 24th Busan International Film Festival, where the process of accession and presentation of Uzbekistan National Film Commission and PROlogue International Film Festival to the General Assembly of the organization will be carried out.
Since the joining, information about Uzbekistan’s film locations will be distributed each month throughout the world. This will serve to promote Uzbekistan at international film festivals and film markets, support young and talented filmmakers, and develop film tourism in Uzbekistan.
The AFCNet includes Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, China, Jordan, Russia, New Zealand and others.
