The 6th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Mongolia took place via videoconference.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the delegations led by the Deputy Foreign Ministers Furkat Sidikov and Munkhjin Batsumber discussed the current issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia in various fields.

Mutual interest in intensifying political contacts, developing inter-parliamentary dialogue, and expanding the legal framework was emphasized.

The parties exchanged views on the international and regional agenda, as well as various aspects of the interaction of the parties within the framework of international institutions.

The importance of more efficient use of the potential of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere was noted.

The parties considered proposals for building up ties in the cultural and humanitarian field.
