Uzbekistan – Moldova: Cooperation will develop
The Chairperson of the Senate Committee on International Affairs, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investments and Tourism Ravshanbek Alimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Uzbekistan Valeriu Chiveri.
The current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and Moldova, particularly issues of consistent development of trade, economic, investment, and inter-parliamentary ties, were discussed during the dialogue.

The parties noted the enormous untapped potential of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and the importance of reviewing the legal framework.

The Moldovan side expressed interest in intensifying inter-parliamentary relations, effectively using the format and mechanisms of mutual partnership through parliamentary friendship groups.
Following the meeting, the Ambassador emphasized his readiness to make every effort to improve bilateral cooperation.
