In the first six months of this year, Uzbekistan increased the export of melons by 16.8 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

According to the Statistics Agency, the country exported 79.9 thousand tons of melons worth $16.7 million to 11 countries in January-June.

Most of all, Uzbekistan exported melons to:

Kazakhstan – 35.7 thousand tons

Russia – 29.3 thousand tons

Kyrgyzstan – 12.6 thousand tons

Belarus – 1.3 thousand tons

Tajikistan – 664 tons

Mongolia – 143 tons.
