Uzbekistan, Malaysia representatives hold talks on cooperation in air cargo transportation

Representatives of Uzbekistan Airports JSC, the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the country in Malaysia have held virtual talks with CEO of Malaysia Airlines Berhad Cargo, Ibrahim Mohd Salleh.

Representatives of Uzbekistan Airports JSC, the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the country in Malaysia have held virtual talks with CEO of Malaysia Airlines Berhad Cargo, Ibrahim Mohd Salleh.

The purpose of the negotiations was to discuss the issues of attracting the Malaysian side to cooperation with the airports of Tashkent and Navoi to use their services during cargo flights to Europe carried out by the company.

The Uzbek side made a presentation on the potential of Tashkent and Navoi airports in provision of services for foreign airlines, as well as proposed to consider the possibility of resuming cooperation on a contract basis.

Following the videoconference, an agreement was reached on considering the possibility of concluding a contract with Malaysia Airlines Berhad Cargo.
