Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov visited the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) and held a meeting with its Founder and CEO Parmjit Singh to discuss opportunities for cooperation in higher education and science.

The Malaysian side was informed about the measures implemented in Uzbekistan to radically improve and enhance the quality of higher education, further development and improvement of science, technology and innovation based on international best practices.

Parmjit Singh noted that students from Uzbekistan also study at the university. He expressed satisfaction with the level of training of Uzbekistan youth and expressed interest in the entry of APU into the educational market of the country.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on establishing cooperation with El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Turin Polytechnic University.
