Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Kudratov visits Malaysia.

Meetings will be held with the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Zafrul Abdul Aziz, the Minister for Religious Affairs Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, the Governor of the Central Bank Datuk Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, and other officials.

The first meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation and a dialogue with the heads of leading companies took place. The parties discussed measures to accelerate the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to Uzbekistan, notably prospects for enhancing cooperation in finance, trade, and investment.

Tasks were set for implementing investment projects in the gas-chemical, automotive, and electrical industries, the production of ceramic products, special equipment for agriculture, food safety, medicine, information technology, and digitalization.
