The Embassy of Uzbekistan to Malaysia organized virtual talks between the leadership of the Uzbekistan Business Women Association and the International Women Entrepreneurs Association of Malaysia (IWEAM) to discuss the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in supporting women’s entrepreneurship.

The Malaysian side was provided with detailed information on the activities carried out in Uzbekistan to increase the activity of women in all spheres of the country’s economic, political and public life.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of IWEAM members to Uzbekistan on November 28 – December 5, including to participate in the international conference “International cooperation in the field of gender equality” and to study the possibility of implementing joint trade and investment projects.
