On August 17, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov held virtual talks with Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Nadzirah Binti Osman.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for enhancing multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

The main attention was paid to the issues of further activation and strengthening of cooperation within the framework of international organizations, in particular the UN, the OIC and other multilateral platforms, including by supporting mutual initiatives.

Other current issues of Uzbekistan – Malaysia agenda were also discussed.

An agreement was reached on the continuation of diplomatic contacts for the practical implementation of the existing significant potential for enhancing collaboration in the above areas.
