Uzbekistan, Malaysia develop IT collaboration
Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur organized an online debate between the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and Fusionex company (Malaysia) representatives.
A presentation of the activities of Fusionex, partners of which are Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, Lazada and Shopee, took place. They implement projects that contribute to the development of the digital economy, the creation of a digital free trade zone.
It was noted that the development of digital infrastructure in Uzbekistan will entail the expansion of exports, the use of the country as a logistics center for the transportation of international goods.
The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Export Promotion Agency and Fusionex have agreed to sign a trilateral memorandum under which they will implement the investment project.
