The minister noted that his agency has developed a roadmap for Sustainable Environmental Development in Malaysia for 2020-2030, within which 26 initiatives are currently being implemented in four fundamental areas: sustainable governance, green growth, strategic cooperation and social inclusiveness.

The readiness of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of Malaysia was expressed to establish cooperation with the State Committee of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Environment, including by signing a relevant document.

Mr. Tuan Ibrahim bin Tuan Man noted the interest of the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre in establishing a partnership with the Uzbek side in the implementation of green technologies to mitigate the effects of climate change and proper environmental protection.
