The leadership of JSC Uzbekneftegaz and representatives of the Malaysian company Five Petroleum discussed prospects for developing cooperation.

According to the joint-stock company, the parties reviewed opportunities to create digital imaging of rock samples and jointly implement the “Digital Core” project aimed at systematizing and processing geological formations. 

JSC Uzgeophysics, UzLITIneftegaz, and the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology agreed to prepare a conceptual proposal for the project. 

Representatives of Five Petroleum expressed interest in studying Uzbekistan’s infrastructure and developing collaboration. They also visited the Drilling Operations Control Center and the Modeling and Digital Projects Center.
