Vilnius hosted a business forum and meeting of the Uzbekistan – Lithuania Business Council, attended by officials and entrepreneurs from both countries.

During the event, foreign participants received comprehensive information on the outcomes of large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, as well as on the country’s investment and economic potential. Special attention was given to the opportunities and preferential conditions created for entrepreneurs.

During the event, presentations were made on the activities and cooperation projects of the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant, the UZ Terminal logistics center, as well as several Lithuanian companies, including TPC, TVG Group, TL Nika, Bunasta, Everwest Group, Vilteda, and Arijus.

One of the key outcomes of the forum was the signing of an agreement between the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant and SIA Grange for a total of 20 million euros. The agreement provides for the supply, in the coming months, of coated metal products, which will create favorable conditions for expanding Uzbekistan’s export opportunities in the markets of the Baltic States and the European Union.
