The forum is held in Moscow from August 30 to September 1 under the motto “In the language of children’s literature: Cooperation in children’s literature and reading” by the Russian State Children’s Library together with the Raising a Reader Association, the Russian Book Union, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States and other organizations.

The forum is dedicated to children’s literature, translation, and book design, the role of the Russian language as the basis of international communication. It is attended by children’s writers, illustrators, designers of children’s books, librarians, and specialists in children’s literature from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia.

This international forum will be essential in promoting measures at the international level to develop reading skills in Uzbekistan and establish libraries’ activities at the modern level.
