Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport Mahmud Boltabayev has met with the Rector of the Latvian Academy of Sport Education Juris Grants, in Riga.

The delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the material and technical base, educational activities, scientific laboratories of the Latvian Academy of Sport Education.

The parties discussed issues of building up cooperation in the selection of athletes, improving the activities of colleges of the Olympic reserve and schools of higher sportsmanship.

Following the talks, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in sports promotion, improvement of sports education and training of athletes.
