A delegation led by the Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province of South Korea Lee Cheol-Woo visited the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the INNO Technopark operating under the Ministry. Deputy Minister of Innovative Development Shakhlo Turdikulova met the Governor.

Members of the Korean delegation got acquainted with the exhibition opened at the ministry and the activities of the INNO Technopark, held talks with officials of the ministry. 

The parties agreed on further joint work. To equip the production site of the INNO Technopark with modern equipment, the Gyeongbuk Technopark and INNO Technopark will cooperate in the development of a technical support project.

The parties discussed the issue of attracting experienced Korean specialists for the implementation of projects, acceleration and incubation programs in the INNO Technopark.

Following the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Korean Gyeongbuk Technopark, Yeungnam University, INNO Technopark and AKFA University of Uzbekistan.
