A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed on organizing the activities of Uzbekistan – Korean expert group within the framework of cooperation in e-government and digital economy.

The document was signed by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Security and Public Administration of the Republic of Korea.

The Memorandum was additionally concluded within the framework of a similar document signed on November 22, 2017 in the city of Seoul – the Memorandum of Understanding on Further Development of E-Government and the Digital Economy.

Together with South Korean experts, urgent tasks were identified, namely the development of priority projects and programs for development of e-government and the digital economy, the provision of consulting services as part of the organization of the e-government development plan, the development of state policy in e-government and establishment of information exchange.

The parties also plan to implement additional priority projects in accordance with the e-government and digital economy development program.
