Uzbekistan – Korea: legislative cooperation develops
The Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis jointly with the Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea organized an international workshop on “Modern approaches in legislation: the experience of Uzbekistan and Korea”.
The Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis jointly with the Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea organized an international workshop on “Modern approaches in legislation: the experience of Uzbekistan and Korea”.
The international workshop was attended by deputies and members of the Senate, members of a foreign delegation led by Minister of Government Legislation Kim Oe-sook, employees of the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies, leading scientists and specialists in the field, as well as media professionals.
Director of the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies Rakhimjon Khakimov informed on the work implemented in Uzbekistan on implementation of the Concept of legislative activities and emphasized that studying the experience of the Republic of Korea in legislation is important.
In turn, the Minister of Government Legislation Kim Oe-sook gave a high assessment to the fact that Uzbekistan pays special attention to further reduction of legislative acts on the basis of the Concept for improving regulatory activities, and the adoption of direct action laws by the Parliament.
Within the framework of the workshop, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea.
