The opening ceremony of the Expert Forum “Uzbekistan – Korea: A look into the future”, organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, is attended by heads and officials of several local and foreign structures.

Executive Director of Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum Secretariat Mr. Rhee Jong Kook, who addressed the event, noted that cooperation between Korea and Uzbekistan tends to develop. Over the past thirty years, it has achieved comprehensive success in all areas.

According to the expert, Uzbekistan is an important strategic partner of the Republic of Korea in Central Asia.

Then the participants heard the report of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Siddikov.

The event will be held in the breakout sessions with the participation of leading experts and heads of analytical centers, representatives of research and educational institutions in the two countries.
