The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan hosted a roundtable discussion dedicated to the current state and prospects of the development of a strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the International Institute for Central Asia and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Director of Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zarema Shaukenova noted that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are linked by strong bonds of friendship, which play a significant role not only in strengthening interaction, but also in regional cooperation.

It was also noted that the positions of the countries coincide on almost all international issues. Kazakhstan perceives in an extremely positive context the initiatives of Tashkent in the international arena, as well as the large-scale transformations carried out by the country.
