Uzbekistan’s wrestlers have successfully performed on the second day of the Aktau Asian Judo Open tournament, in Kazakhstan’s Aktau, which is included in the calendar of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
The athletes won three gold, a silver, and four bronze medals. Shinar Ibrayeva (-78 kg), Ernazar Sarsenbayev (-100 kg), and Muhammadqodir Mansurov (+100 kg) won gold medals, and Zufarbek Orolov (+100) was awarded a silver medal. In addition, Shirinjon Yuldasheva (-70 kg), Ulugbek Uroqov (-90 kg), Durdona Nizomaddinova (+78 kg), and Abdulla Khudoyorov (+100 kg) won bronze medals in their weight categories.

Representatives of ten countries took part in the tournament. The Uzbekistan national team took first place in the team events with 5 gold, 3 silver, 8 bronze medals. The national team of Kazakhstan took second place with 4 gold, 5 silver, and 15 bronze medals, and Azerbaijani judokas rounded out the top three with 3 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
