The national judo team of Uzbekistan has departed for Tokyo to participate in the XXXII Summer Olympic Games.

According to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the national judo team will stay in the city of Maizuru. It is a port city located in Kyoto Prefecture.

Uzbekistan Judo Federation sent two teams to Maizuru to prepare for the Olympic Games. Representatives of the second squad will directly help the Olympiad participants as sparring partners. The training camp will last until July 19. Then the team will head to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Village.
