Astrakhan hosts the Caspian Media Forum, attended by media representatives from 10 countries.

The Caspian Media Forum, held for the eighth time this year, is attended by members of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan from Uzbekistan – colleagues working on TV and radio channels, in print and online publications.

The Presidential Resolution “On measures to support media and development of journalism” of June 27, 2022, determined that media representatives would visit foreign countries for advanced training, internships, and participation in prestigious events. The Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan plans to send almost 60 employees this year and over the next year and organize training courses with the involvement of qualified foreign specialists.
