Presidential Resolution “On accession to the international treaty” has been adopted.

Uzbekistan has joined the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled (June 27, 2013, Marrakesh).

Information and Mass Communications Agency has been appointed as the responsible body for the implementation of this international agreement. The Cabinet of Ministers and heads of relevant ministries and agencies will ensure the fulfillment of Uzbekistan's obligations after the entry of this international treaty into force.
