Virtual talks have been held between representatives of Tashkent Medical Academy and professors of the Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences of Hiroshima University.

The Japanese side expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Tashkent Medical Academy for joint scientific research. It was noted that the next stage will be the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation. This will allow exchanging students and teachers for the short and medium-term with participation in clinical trials, attending surgeries, as well as conducting scientific research.

Following the meeting, an agreement was also reached to establish direct contacts between professors and employees of international departments of both sides to determine the themes of joint scientific research.
