The Research Institute of Sericulture held a conversation with representatives of Cooperative of Japan Silk & Silk Thread Development, Shin-Masuzawa Industrial companies for the production of silk-winding machines, Japan International Cooperation Agency and Uzbekipaksanoat Association.

International partners were informed about the prospects of Uzbek sericulture. It was noted that dozens of resolutions and decrees have been adopted and are being gradually implemented in the country. Issues related to changes in the world market, increasing consumer demand and measures taken for the development of the sericulture industry were discussed.

They became familiar with the scientific research carried out at the Institute in silkworm breeding, mechanization of sericulture, harvesting of artificial feeds, genetics of silkworms.
