Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov held a meeting with President of the Friendship Exchange Council (FEC) of Japan Ken Matsuzawa.

The parties discussed issues of enhancing cooperation, including with representatives of Japanese businesses that are part of the organization. Ken Matsuzawa expressed his readiness to make every effort to assist in attracting Japanese companies to Uzbekistan market.

An agreement was reached on organizing joint events, in particular, business forums, presentations, workshops, roundtable discussions and others to familiarize the Japanese business community with favorable conditions for doing business in the country, as well as presenting specific projects.

A decision was made to appoint the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan as an Honorary Member of the Japanese organization to further strengthen cooperation with the FEC.
