Uzbekistan, Japan discuss issues of joint implementation of projects in technologies and hydrogen energy
12:35 / 2021-06-30

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan has held negotiations with representatives of the Japanese Business Alliance for Smart Energy Worldwide (JASE-W).

The parties discussed issues of enhancing JASE-W and its members’ activities in Uzbekistan, including more than 40 advanced high-tech Japanese companies.

JASE-W representatives noted that members of the organization specialize in the development and implementation of energy-efficient technologies, including cogeneration, as well as technologies for hydrogen energy. In particular, the Kawasaki company has low-power hydrogen-fueled turbines.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on further working out the issues of joint implementation of projects in new technologies and hydrogen energy, sending a JASE-W mission in the second half of July within the framework of the ongoing project with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy.
