The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan, Mukhsinkhoja Abdurakhmonov, held talks with the newly appointed CEO of the Tashkent Representative Office of Mitsubishi Corporation, Hiroyoshi Kainuma.

The parties discussed the progress of implementation of current projects in the energy sector, prospects for cooperation and development of new projects.

The Uzbek side emphasized the activities of the Tashkent Representative Office of Mitsubishi Corporation, established in 1993, and its role in the implementation of large investment projects over the years.

Mr. Hiroyoshi Kainuma noted with satisfaction the positive shifts in the economy of the country in recent years, despite the negative impact of the pandemic around the world, as well as the favorable conditions created for private investors, and assured that he would continue to work to involve the company in the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan.
