Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the initiative of the Iranian side, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Iran in various spheres.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the activation of inter-parliamentary ties, economic cooperation, the development of trade relations and the promotion of new cooperation projects.

The schedule, agenda and organizational aspects of upcoming events, including the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, were considered.
