The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany hosted the event “Uzbekistan invites tourists from all over the world”, organized as part of the international tourism fair ITB Berlin.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Germany Dilshod Akhatov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shodiyev, President of the Association of German Travel Agencies Norbert Fiebig noted the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in tourism.

In recent years, Uzbekistan has paid particular attention to tourism development, preserving the rich cultural and historical heritage and popularizing it among tourists. Further enhancing bilateral cooperation between travel companies of Uzbekistan and Germany is especially important.

The presentation of the book “Archaeological Park of Akhsikent” aroused great interest among the event participants. Videos about the potential of tourism in the country were shown, and musical performances by artists were organized.
