Embassy of Uzbekistan in India hosted a meeting with Chaman Lal Dhingra, an entrepreneur and chief of Chaman Fruit Center.

Noting at the meeting that the scale of Uzbekistan – India economic cooperation is enhancing every year, the parties exchanged views on the supply of fresh and dried fruits to the Indian market, as well as other products grown in Uzbekistan.

Factors related to trade in fruit and vegetable products between the two countries, existing problems and proposals for their solution were discussed. In particular, the parties noted the need for development of cooperation between logistics companies in multimodal transportation, making non-standard solutions in a pandemic, effectively using the potential of air transportation.
