Uzbekconcert state institution, the Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture in Tashkent has organized Uzbekistan – India Art Masters Week.
During the week, to be held from 23 to 29 January, master classes in dance, singing, music, and stage costumes of the two countries will be held for students studying in culture, as well as for art lovers.
The opening ceremony of the Art Masters Week was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Uzbekconcert state institution, the Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture, creative figures.
During the week, online masterclasses will be organized for students of specialized higher education institutions and art lovers, which will be held by a professor of Indian music art Suneera Kasliwal, specialist in Indian national dance Smriti Aditya, a specialist in Indian traditional and stage costumes, Dr. Neelima Asthana and others.
Online master classes for Indian students and art lovers will be held by People’s Artists of Uzbekistan Zamira Suyunova, Abdulakhad Abdurashidov, Viloyat Oqilova, Gavkhar Matyokubova, Mamura Ergasheva, as well as costume specialists Feruza Otakhonova, Ayrin Allabergenova, Farida Maksumova, and Natalya Musina.
