In January-April, the volume of food products imported from abroad to Uzbekistan amounted to $1,126.6 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the growth amounted to 48.9%, or $370.2 million compared with the corresponding period last year.

In the first 4 months of the year, food products were imported from 102 countries (in 2021 from 94 countries). Food imports to Uzbekistan mainly fell on Kazakhstan (38.2%), Russia (25.2%), Brazil (11.3%), Belarus (4.4%) and Pakistan (3.5%).
