In 2022, Uzbekistan imported 140.2 thousand tons of bananas worth $63.4 million from abroad.

According to the Statistics Agency, last year, banana imports increased by 57.2 percent (+51 thousand tons) compared to 2021.

The countries from which Uzbekistan imported this type of product the most in 2022 were Ecuador – 138.9 thousand tons, Kazakhstan – 426 tons, Turkmenistan – 345 tons and Türkiye – 197 tons. Other countries accounted for 299 tons.
