In January-August 2022, Uzbekistan imported 20.8 thousand cars from abroad worth $511.6 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the import of cars in the current year compared to the corresponding period in 2021 increased by 5.8 thousand units (138.6%).

Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the largest number of cars in January-August this year are China (8.3 thousand cars), the Republic of Korea (6.8 thousand cars), Kazakhstan (3.7 thousand cars), Russia (1.4 thousand cars), and other countries (605 cars).
