An online agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the University of Debrecen of Hungary on the implementation of educational programs of the University of Debrecen in Uzbekistan.
The document was signed by the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education A. Toshkulov and the Rector of the University of Debrecen, Professor Zoltán Szilvássy.
The Secretary General of the Hungarian Rectors Conference, Dr. Zoltán Dubéczi, noted that not only the University of Debrecen, but also many other leading universities in Hungary are ready to establish close cooperation with Uzbekistan universities.
“Cooperation between Hungary and Uzbekistan in education is a model for all other countries of the European Union. The culmination of the collaboration between our countries is the decision to open a branch of the University of Debrecen in Uzbekistan. The next event, I think, will be holding of a joint forum of rectors in Uzbekistan this year”, said the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Hungary A. Fayzullayev.
The implementation of the tasks will allow raising the level of training in Uzbekistan and further strengthening cooperation in education.
