As part of a working trip to Budapest, Hungary, a Practical action plan to ensure the implementation of agreements on enhancing cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Uzarchive Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Archives of Hungary was signed.
The National Archives of Hungary provided copies of 70 archival documents and maps relating to Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the signed Plan, several works to study the history of economic, scientific, and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Hungary are planned in collaboration with the archives of Hungary.

The National Archives of Hungary and the Budapest City Archives also contain documentary information about Uzbek soldiers and war prisoners who participated in Budapest’s liberation during the Second World War. Studying these documents and the history of the two countries will also allow for the preservation of tangible and cultural resources and the development of long-term plans for cooperation.

The National Archives of Hungary also has advanced experience in creating an electronic document platform, digitalizing documents, and restoring and preserving documents. Studying this experience will improve archival work.
