On December 16-17, Uzbekistan hosted the Third Science and Atom Festival.
The event is designed to inform young people about the latest achievements in nuclear science and technology, as well as to popularize engineering specialties among schoolchildren and students.

The festival is organized by Nuclear Technology Information Center (NTIC) in Tashkent with the support of Uzatom Agency and Rosatom State Corporation. Science and Atom Festivals, aimed at popularizing science and technology are held in many countries of the world where the nuclear industry and nuclear technologies are developing. Bangladesh, India, Belarus, Armenia, Egypt, Vietnam and Indonesia are among them. The festival has been held in Uzbekistan since 2019.

The program of the event included excursions for high school students around the new campus of MEPhI, student reports and expert speeches, discussions and scientific games.

Master classes in robotics were held at NTIC. Schoolchildren and students, specialists, journalists and everyone interested in scientific topics and the nuclear industry were invited to participate in the event.
