The final stages of the Save Aral 2022 charity mass run and the Cup of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC have kicked off in Uzbekistan’s Turakurgan.

The competitions are organized by the Athletics Federation, Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Ministry of Sports Development.

Save Aral 2022 is aimed at attracting public attention to the environmental situation around the Aral Sea, promoting and strengthening a healthy lifestyle.

The event will take place on October 4 in Shakhrikhan, October 6 in Margilan, October 8 in Kokand. More than 10 thousand people are expected to take part in the event.
