The Central Asia Creative Youth Forum is being held at the initiative of the Uzbekistan Writers Union.
On the first day of the forum, young writers and poets from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan visited the Uzbekistan Writers Union and the Alley of Litterateurs. The participants laid flowers at the monument to the great poet Alisher Navoi.
At a creative meeting held on the Alley of Litterateurs, the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Writers Union Sirojiddin Sayyid spoke in detail about the great work carried out in the development of national literature, its role, and the importance in improving the spirituality of people.
“The exchange of opinions between creative people, familiarization with each other’s work on an ongoing basis is important”, says the poet from Kyrgyzstan Rakhimjan Ali. – The international forum, which is being held in Uzbekistan, creates an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the creative youth of Central Asia, creating in the Uzbek language, to preserve the native language, develop it, and strengthen mutual friendship. Stimulates us to new searches.
“Recently, cooperation, friendship between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have risen to a new level”, says the poet from Kazakhstan Ravshanbek Ubayev. – In 2018, Uzbekistan Days were successfully held in Kazakhstan. Within their framework, literary events and creative dialogues were held with great enthusiasm. We had the opportunity to get acquainted with Uzbek poets, talk with them, get acquainted with their works. I am very interested in the work of the people’s poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf. My poems were published in the collection “Uygoq Qalblar Ovozi” and “Anthology of Kazakh and Uzbek Poets and Writers”. I think that the Central Asia Creative Youth Forum will become a worthy platform for the mutual exchange of opinions and experience.
The participants of the forum got acquainted in detail with the activities of the Uzbekistan Writers Union, its museum. The work carried out in the development of national literature left a great impression on the audience.
