A three-day international training workshop has kicked off in Tashkent on dissemination of standards and cooperation among ISO member countries from Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
A three-day international training workshop has kicked off in Tashkent on dissemination of standards and cooperation among ISO member countries from Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
The event was organized by Uzstandard Agency with the support of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Experts from Uzbekistan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Armenia, Georgia, Northern Macedonia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan shared experience and discussed trends in standardization.
On the first day of the workshop, the participants discussed active and passive sales, pricing and copyright protection of ISO publications and their national adaptation, provision of ISO publications for educational institutions, watermarking for ISO members and translation of ISO publications into various languages.
Provision of single-user and multi-user network licenses was considered.
