The Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 has opened at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The two-week event, organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, has brought together about 2,000 publishers from 25 countries.

According to Abdullatif Al Wasel, CEO of the Commission, the forum contributes to cultural enlightenment and economic growth as part of the Vision 2030 program.

This year, Uzbekistan has been invited to the fair as the Guest of Honor. The organizers highlighted the country’s rich cultural potential and strong ties with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the event will make a practical contribution to the development of cultural exchange.

The Uzbekistan National Pavilion features a diverse cultural program, including rare manuscripts, theatrical performances, and artworks. In addition, within the framework of cooperation with the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, a series of joint creative events is planned.
