The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Nikos Dendias exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

It was noted that the parties have sufficient potential to intensify trade-economic ties, enhance cooperation in culture, education and tourism, and deepen inter-parliamentary dialogue.

They expressed confidence that the partnership between Uzbekistan and Greece, based on mutual trust, will continue to strengthen in all areas for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

In turn, Nikos Dendias stressed that in recent years, bilateral relations have been steadily developing based on the principles of equality and mutual respect.

It was noted that Greece is interested in further strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan within the framework of international structures, as well as through the European Union.
